As the "pinnacle of F that embodies ultimate driving," the LFA has been produced in a limited number of 2010 units since the end of 500. F means Fuji Speedway, which is also Toyota's home circuit, and only limited sports models such as the IS F, GS F, and RC F, which are still in production, have been allowed to use one letter of the alphabet in their car names.

The LFA is a two-seater sports car created as a crystallization of Lexus and Toyota's technology, and with a 2.4-liter V8 powertrain, a 10-speed ASG transmission, a transaxle, and a chassis and body that makes extensive use of CFRP, it was a luxury that deserved to be described as a supercar with all its exclusive purpose. In addition, while adopting the traditional packaging of FR midship, long nose and short deck, it also had many original aspects such as mounting a radiator at the rear end of the car body to improve weight distribution.

Even now, nearly 6 years have passed since the end of production, and I have the impression that the appeal of LFA has become more prominent rather than diminished, so we have started to model it.

We have already released the LFA and its high-performance LFA Nürburgring package at 1/43 of the EIDOLON and the LFA Nürburgring package in 1/18.  We will release the 1/18th version of LFA, which has been requested a lot this time.

First, the prototype was designed using 3D CAD based on the 3D data of the actual vehicle provided by Lexus. The most important issue is to be faithful to the actual vehicle, and we are trying to create a plain shape that does not intentionally deform.

Since the body of the LFA is a simple model, the miniaturization was designed after taking into account the thickness of the paint so as not to give a dull impression.In addition, when expressing the lights that tighten the expression of the model, we thoroughly researched the relevant parts of the actual vehicle and reproduced not only the shape, but also the parts composition and texture as much as possible.

A new mold has been created for the wheel, and injection molded products with excellent sharp modeling expression are used.  In addition, the seats are thoroughly focused on the interior parts that you cannot notice unless you look at them carefully, such as newly producing 3D data in-house in order to express more detailed details and reproduce shapes.

Please enjoy the elegant appearance of the LFA on a big scale, which is different from the competitive charm of the LFA Nürburgring package car with a lot of carbon parts.
